Your customers or employees can make bookings through JSM Portal by creating a new request.

Raley Bookman frame will be shown below the Summary where you indicate the desired Asset, From and To booking period.



The JSM Customer can either type in the Jira "asset" ticket key or look it up by clicking on Find asset button. The following screen will be presented when selecting a Jira asset:



Upon choosing an "asset" ticket, the system will show existing reservations made for that ticket in Calendar or List view. A customer can consult this list to make a more informed decision on when and what to book.


Dates can be set for Booking from and Booking to. The calendar below can be used to see the existing reservation for the chosen asset:


 


The system will not allow the booking of an asset if it has already been booked with overlapping times. In such cases, the following notification will be shown:

If you've configured your app with From Date Cron and Booking Durations assigned, then the screen should look like the following example:

The time period chosen in Book for will affect the value in Booking to (disabled and automatically re-calculated depending on chosen Booking from).


You can either change the booking period (start and/or end times) or, alternatively, choose another asset which is available for the desired booking period.


Finally, upon clicking the "Send" button, a JSM ticket with the booking will be created. You'll see your booking details in the ticket as follows:
