Raley Bookman is an app that exposes specific subset of assets represented by Jira tickets for bookings in JSM portal.
As a Jira admin you configure Bookman by navigating to Apps top menu → Raley Bookman and you'll be presented with a screen similar to the following:
Each of the entries in the configurations table represents a mapping between particular JSM Request type to a particular set of Jira assets tickets represented by JQL.
Each "asset" ticket can be then chosen for a booking on a JSM portal like following:
JSM Customer can either type-in the Jira "asset" ticket key or look it up by clicking on Find asset button. The following screen will be presented when selecting a Jira asset:
On choosing of "asset" ticket, the system will show existing reservations made for that ticket in Calendar or List view. A customer can consult this list to make a more informed decision on when and what to book.
Finally, a JSM Agent or a regular Jira user can open the Asset ticket and see its existing reservations from Jira ticket view. And example is below:
